Thanks for flying across the country.
Here's a few things we think you'll enjoy
Brookings and Gold Beach are essentially coastal country towns. There are no big shopping malls and not an ULTA in sight, only the serene beauty of the Redwood Forest meeting the relentless waves of the Pacific Ocean...and that's why we love it.
JK there's a Fred Meyer and a few other grocery stores. Even a movie theater. Yeehaw.

Although the outdoor activities have been broken out by town, each town is only a 30 minute drive from each other so it's possible to knock out 5-6 hikes in a day. If you see a pullout on the west side of the PCH we recommend you pull off and poke your head around. The best trails are the unmarked ones.
